Not too long after working at Adobe we partnered with Artstation and NASA to do a design competition. There was some amazing works that came out of it and a lot of engagement which was great to see.
My role: I was responsible for analyzing the models provided by NASA and figuring out the best course for getting the models to meet the standards of Adobe Stock 3D and Adobe Dimension. Ultimately, I helped to re-model, optimize geometry, and re-texture most of the hard surface assets (along with crater/asteroids).
It was a great learning experience and I was able to improve on modelling, texturing, clean topology while being efficient with my time as we had a short deadline.
